"How much does a cleaner cost?" is the first question everyone asks and the one most cleaning companies answer with "it depends". It does depend — but on a short list of things you can check in a minute. Here is exactly how our pricing works, with the real numbers from our booking form.
Price is set by square footage, not by the hour
A Residential Standard Clean is priced by the size of your home. That is the whole base price — there is no separate charge per bathroom, and no hourly meter running while the team is in your kitchen.

Two Edmonton-specific notes. First, count the finished basement if you want it cleaned — a 1,600 sq ft main-and-upper with a developed basement is closer to 2,400 sq ft of cleaning. Second, booking the full size is what protects the result: a home booked smaller than it is runs out of time, and the visit ends with something skipped.
Recurring service costs less every visit
The single biggest lever on price is frequency. Weekly cleaning is 20% off the base, bi-weekly 15%, tri-weekly 12% and monthly 10%. For a typical Terwillegar two-storey at 1,800 sq ft, that turns a $199 visit into $169 on a bi-weekly schedule. The booking form applies the discount on screen as you choose, so you see the real number before entering a card.
What a first-time clean adds — and why it exists
If your home has not been professionally cleaned in the past month, or you are booking a one-time visit, a First-Time Clean is added at $100. It covers the detail work a maintenance visit cannot: baseboards and trim, backsplash and grout, inside the microwave, light fixtures and vents, walls and switches spot-cleaned. It brings the home up to a level a recurring visit can then hold, which is why regular clients only ever pay it once.
Add-ons, priced per item
Everything else is optional and priced individually on the booking form: inside the oven ($40), inside the fridge ($35 empty, $50 full), inside empty cabinets ($35), a Deep Clean Kitchen Bundle ($89), a basement ($79), an additional kitchen ($50), interior windows ($8 each), walls ($20 per room), pets ($30), a garage sweep ($30), a balcony or patio ($20), BBQ cleaning ($60) and laundry ($20 per load, washed, dried and folded). Move-In / Move-Out is $125 added to the standard clean and needs an empty home.
Hourly cleaning, for when you only need part of the job
Priority rooms or a custom task list are booked by the hour at $65, with a three-hour minimum. It is the right choice when you do not need the whole-home checklist — and the wrong one when you do, because hourly work is scoped to your list rather than to our standard.
Outside Edmonton
For St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Beaumont, Leduc and Fort Saskatchewan, a small service-area fee of $20–$35 may apply for travel time. The booking form applies it automatically, so the total you see is the total you pay.
